RE:  Ongoing Burglary Investigations
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sheriff Rob Outhouse is requesting the public’s help with two unsolved burglaries that occurred at SMS Automotive, 327 Grant Avenue, Auburn, in September and November of this year.
            

During the overnight hours of Thursday September 22nd an unknown person, or persons, did forcibly enter a locked office door at the dealership and steal an undetermined amount of cash.                         
             

In a second incident, during the overnight hours of Saturday November 12, unknown person(s) did forcibly enter a garage at the dealership and steal a 2004 KTM 125 SX motorcycle. The motorcycle was recovered on November 13th near North Street in the City of Auburn. It is believed that the motorcycle did not start and may have been pushed to that location.            
                   

The Sheriff asks that anyone with any information they believe would be helpful to the investigations contact the Criminal Investigations Unit at the Sheriff’s Office 315-253-1610.
